Creating a batch from a .CSV template in TextEdit, Excel or Numbers

Steps to Create a Batch

  1. Login in Zexel Pay.
  2. Visit the section “New batch with CSV”.
  3. Download the .csv template.
  4. Open it with your preferred editor (TextEdit, Excel, or Numbers).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • ALL THE AMOUNTS MUST HAVE TWO DECIMALS.
  • THE CURRENCY MUST ADAPT TO THE ISO 4217 CODE.

Editing with TextEdit

  1. Fill it out with the auto-requests by replacing the example emails while keeping the same structure.
  2. It is mandatory to keep the first line of the CSV unmodified (email;amount_destiny;currency_destiny). The software will not work otherwise.
  3. Use the semicolons (;) as separators for the different columns.
  4. Enter the amount for each payment, ensuring it has two decimals to prevent mistakes on the amount to be sent.
  5. To separate decimals, you can use either "." or "," indistinctly (both will work).
  6. Use the currency code (ISO 4217) to choose in which currency each creator will receive their payment.
  7. Add as many auto-requests as needed.
  8. Rename the .csv file, and now you can upload it to Zexel Pay to create your batch automatically.

Editing with Excel (Windows)

  1. Open the .csv file with Excel and rename it to your liking.
  2. Fill it out with the auto-requests by replacing the example emails in the first column, using the same structure.
  3. It is mandatory to keep the first line of the file unmodified (email;amount_destiny;currency_destiny). The software will not work otherwise.
  4. Enter the amount for each payment in the second column, ensuring it has two decimals to prevent mistakes on the amount to be sent.
  5. To separate decimals, you can use either "." or "," indistinctly (both will work).
  6. Use the currency code (ISO 4217) in the third column to choose in which currency each creator will receive their payment.
  7. Add as many auto-requests as needed.
  8. To export the file with the correct extension, go to “File” > “Export” > “Export As .CSV”.

Now you can upload it to Zexel Pay to create your batch automatically.

Editing with Numbers (Mac)

  1. Open the .csv file with Numbers and rename it to your liking.
  2. Fill it out with the auto-requests by replacing the example emails in the first column, using the same structure.
